Dear Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid,
I understand that normal politics involves compromise, but these Republicans are not ‘normal’.
Secretary of State Cyrus Vance once said of the Soviets that their negotiating philosophy was, “What’s our is ours. What’s yours is negotiable.”
This perfectly describes current Republicans.
DO NOT reward Rightwing intransigence, because that is precisely what a compromise here would do.
Stand strong.
