Hi All,

It is my utmost privilege and delight to share the news with you that yesterday we learned that our petition to the United States Supreme Court made the first cut, and received Docket Number 16-1464!  30% of all petitions submitted get rejected for various technical and other reasons so this is a big step forward.  What is next?  Well YOU are.  While it is never appropriate or effective to write to the Justices directly, they are American citizens, living in the same world we are, and they pay attention to public opinion.    Therefore if the American public stands up now and demands a new election, we will be heard and the Supreme Court will know that we will not accept the results of a stolen election and demand a new one.  The Court can schedule a conference or a briefing for our case anytime they choose, especially when it is an emergency situation. So your Tweets, letters to the editor and sharing of our case on Facebook will make a huge difference in how fast we proceed with this case.

For those of you on this email, especially the Constitutional Lawyers, Political Science professors with PHDs, etc. if you still do not think a new election is likely or even possible, than I am sure you have not read Citizens’ Case for a New Election, masterfully crafted and filed by our lead attorney Mark Small, admitted to practice at the Supreme Court.  By the way, Mr. Small is based in Indiana but he is the direct descendant of John Endicott and Ralph Waldo Emerson, both large American historical figures from Massachusetts, where ReVote2017 is headquartered.

The ReVote2017  has saved the actual document filed at the Supreme Court on Google Drive and added notes and annotations, always reviewed and approved by our attorney for accuracy and relevance.  The goal is to  help each and every one of you understand that the Citizens’ Case for a New Election is based on the Constitution as written, prior case law, and real common-sense.  Please do not say again that our case is futile or a long-shot unless and until you have read it and thought about it.  This is your democracy we are saving together!

Finally, we will be having a nationwide press conference on Monday at 2pm EDT featuring our attorney Mark Small and several of our 12 petitioners [plaintiffs], including a former Trump voter and a leader in the movement for rights for autistic and disabled Americans.   We also feature an expert from the data science community who is an elections and voting expert to address the absurd claim that even though we all now know that Russia invaded our elections (which we have been telling you since November!), not one vote was changed.

By the way, two of our petitioners are military veterans and 4 of our petitioners have disabilities, 3 of which came directly from military service or because of working in a company that did not take care of its toxic waste problem. We also  have activists from Detroit, the LGBT movement and descendants of Holocaust survivors.  In short, we have a strong slate of petitioners who represent Americans from all walks of life, including the swing states of MI, WI, PA, OH and FL, which got swung by the Russians and their confederates in the GOP.

We encourage and welcome discussion, debate and even skepticism about our quest for a new election. But please read the Citizens’ Case for a New Election. It is only 38 pages total!
