GUEST:Dr. Francisco Olivera is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering, member and former Associate Director of the GeoSpatial Science, Applications and Technologies Center, and member of the Institute for Sustainable Communities at Texas A&M University. He teaches classes on Urban Stormwater management and Geographic Information Systems. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles on the assessment and mapping of flood damage and risk in the most prestigious journals in the field.
