How the 1% Crashed the economyCan you join a “How the 1% Crashed the Economy” teach-in in Houston on Wednesday? Dear Michael, Everyone knows our economy is broken. And most of us know that the Wall Street banks and the 1% broke it. But too few of us understand how it happened or know what we can really do to turn things around. So this Wednesday, November 9, people nationwide are gathering to join “How the 1% Crashed the Economy” teach-ins. Each teach-in is led by a fellow member of the American Dream Movement who has stepped up to guide a discussion. Together, you’ll talk about what the economic crisis means for our communities, where Wall Street fits in, and, most importantly, what we can do about it. There’s a teach-in this Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at 6:00 PM in Houston. Can you join us? Yes, I’ll be there! Host: Omer K., American Dream Movement volunteer This won’t be a boring teach-in with endless facts and figures. You’ll learn how we ended up here, how we’ve fought back against the 1% in the past, and how we can take action in our communities now. Your host will have a presentation crafted with the help of leading progressive economists to help tell the story. But the most important part of the teach-in isn’t the information, it’s the experience of meeting other people and having in-depth conversations about what’s happened to our communities and how we can work together to fix the damage caused by the 1%. Can you join the conversation in Houston on Wednesday? Yes, I’ll be there! Thank you for being a part of, and believing in, this movement. –Natalie, Van, Billy, Jim, Ian, Somer, and the rest of the Rebuild the Dream Innovation Fund team |

Hello, How can I purchase a copy of this DVD – How the 1% crashed our economy? I’ve been hoping to hold a “teach-in” at my house but cannot find a way to do so without purchasing this DVD. How can I get a copy?
Thanks a lot, Giovanna
