How would you improve your community? Ive been on WordPress since about 2010. The “classic” editor was fairly intuitive, and that kept me on WordPress as a novice.
The block editor is just the opposite. It is not welcomingly easy. It is entirely non-intuitive.
I did a remote training once on the block editor with about a half dozen other people.
We were all challenged by the block editor, and by the end, we all felt unhelped. Instead, we all asked if the classic editor was being discontinued. (That was being threatened. We were all asking id classic would be continues and if there was an easy way to find it.
To this day, I post a weekly blog. It runs about 15 pages. I can do it in Classic in under an hour. In Block, it would take me at least 2-3 hours, which is intolerable.
You news easier access to the classic editor. You need a beginner version of Block if you want beginners to use it.
So far, for me and probably many others, the Block Editor is a clear fail.
