CALL 713-526-5738!! KPFT is in its WINTER Fund Drive. Most of the folks who work and broadcast at KPFT are volunteers, but it still fixed and variable expenses, meaning it costs $150/hour, 24/7/365 to keep KPFT on the air.
KPFT does not accept corporate sponsors. Over 90% of KPFT ‘s funding comes from individual listeners, and only about 1 listener in 16 helps to support KPFT at any given time.
Whether you can only afford to pledge a couple of bucks or $1000, we appreciate whatever you can do. If you can’t pledge support at this time, we still appreciate that you listen to KPFT .
Only 7 companies own about 30 of Houston’s 50-odd radio stations. Those 7 companies determine most of what you hear on your radio.
KPFT airs 95 different programs every week. If KPFT has a format, that format is … almost anything you can think of!
Please support Thinkwing Radio! Please help support KPFT and keep community-supported radio on the air!
Thanks, Mike Honig
