When Geo. W. Bush first brought up the idea of a border wall the joke here in the Valley was that Mexicans would then start selling ladders that would allow people to climb over the wall and get across which would provide a business and employment for many Mexicans in need of work !  !

But as you can see by example this Congressman from Mexico and two companions–one a woman–were able to climb the wall and easily climb down on the US side without any problem ! !

Bottom line is that a border wall to “secure” our Southern border is only a talking point that is promoted primarily by republicans and does not provide the security that they always want to talk about to use in their campaign speeches ! !  Then they take the liberty in using that point to expand it to spread fear and terror about unproven events where there has been damage to property owned by American citizens or even claiming that “many” Americans have been killed or injured by undocumented people that cross into the US illegally which is part and parcel of the now famous “alternative facts” ! ! !

Let me tell you, I have lived here in deep South Texas not 10 miles from the Mexican border for over twenty years; isn’t it obvious that we would be the FIRST to know about such a thing happening ? ? So when I tell you that those stories are highly exaggerated it is the truth ! !
